This Privacy Policy explains how Anthony Esposito, a sole proprietor doing business as PMT ("PMT," "we," "us," or "our"), located in New Jersey, United States, collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use pmt.today and related services (the "Service"). Contact: pokemonmarkettracker@gmail.com.
We've tried to write this in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us.
PMT is an independent Pokémon TCG market-data and analytics tool operated by Anthony Esposito. This policy covers personal information we handle through the Service. It does not cover third-party services you use alongside PMT (such as Discord or Whop), which have their own privacy policies.
Because sign-in is through Discord OAuth, when you create or use your account we receive from Discord:
When you use PMT you may create and save:
This content is private to your account and is not shown to other users by PMT. Your portfolio cost basis is the most sensitive information PMT holds; we store it to provide your portfolio tools and do not use it for any other purpose.
Payments and subscriptions are handled by Whop, which acts as the merchant of record for Premium purchases. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. From Whop we receive information needed to grant and manage Premium access — for example your membership status, plan, and the email associated with your purchase — which we use to link your subscription to your account and set your access level.
We do not run advertising trackers in the Service. However, like any website, the Service is delivered through infrastructure providers that necessarily process some technical information to operate and secure it. Through Cloudflare (our host and security layer) and Supabase (our accounts and database provider), the following may be processed:
We use this information for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and keeping the Service running — not to build advertising profiles.
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement tool that is cookieless: it measures aggregate traffic (such as page views, referrers, and general performance) without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without tracking you across sites. It does not build individual profiles.
PMT uses only functional local storage in your browser (the localStorage mechanism) to keep you signed in and to remember your desk and preferences on your device. PMT does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking, and does not use third-party analytics cookies. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out and clear locally cached preferences; your saved account data remains in your account.
We use personal information to:
We use your saved content and preferences to show you your own watchlist, portfolio, and settings. We do not use your personal information to train AI or machine-learning models, and we do not sell or rent it. PMT's market analytics are computed from market price data, not from your personal information.
PMT communicates with you primarily through Discord. We post market news in the PMT Discord server. If you are a Premium member, we also send updates about your own watchlist, portfolio and price alerts to private Discord threads in the PMT server after each nightly price update. These are on by default while your membership is active, and you can switch each one off in the Alert center. Portfolio updates show percentage changes only, unless you choose to include dollar amounts. Please note: a private Discord thread can be read by PMT staff — the server's administrators and moderators (anyone with the "Manage Threads" permission in the PMT server) — and so can anything you write in it. If you prefer to keep your holdings entirely private, switch portfolio updates off; your data is always available on your PMT dashboard. You can leave the Discord server at any time. PMT does not currently send marketing email.
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Service, only as needed, and under their own terms:
We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to protect the Service, our rights, or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a sale of the business), in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not run targeted advertising. PMT participates in TCGplayer's affiliate program (see Section 19); that program does not involve PMT selling or sharing your personal information.
PMT is operated from the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you use PMT from Canada or elsewhere, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
We keep your account information and saved content (profile, desks, preferences) for as long as you have a PMT account — including while your subscription is inactive — so your portfolio and settings are preserved if you return, unless you ask us to delete them. When you request deletion, we remove your data from our live systems (typically within 30 days), and residual copies in our encrypted backups are purged on the normal backup cycle (within about 90 days). We keep payment and subscription records for as long as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes (much of which is held by our payments provider, Whop, as merchant of record).
Depending on where you live (for example, if you are in California or Canada), you may have rights to:
How to exercise them: email pokemonmarkettracker@gmail.com or open a ticket in our Discord. To protect your account, we may need to verify your identity — typically by confirming you control the Discord account and email associated with your PMT account. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Global Privacy Control / "Do Not Sell or Share": because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but we honor applicable opt-out preference signals to the extent required by law.
You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing pokemonmarkettracker@gmail.com or opening a Discord ticket. On request we will delete your profile and saved desk data as described in Section 14. Some records may be retained where the law requires (for example, payment records held by Whop). On request, and where available, we can provide a copy of your desk data before deletion.
The Service is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Sign-in requires a Discord account, and Discord itself requires users to be at least 13. To hold a paid Premium subscription you must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian manage it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information, including access controls and database row-level security, an authenticated gate protecting premium data, encryption of our backups, a web application firewall and other security controls at the edge, and limiting who and what can access data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond appropriately to any incident.
The Service may link to third-party sites and services (such as Discord, Whop, or retailers). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
Affiliate links. Links to TCGplayer product pages in the Service and in PMT's Discord notifications — for example "View on TCGplayer" and the outbound arrow (↗) — are affiliate links that pass through TCGplayer's affiliate network, Impact (impact.com), before reaching TCGplayer. When you click one, the network and TCGplayer may set cookies or similar identifiers on their own domains so that a purchase you make there can be attributed to PMT. This happens off pmt.today; the Service itself still sets no tracking cookies. PMT does not receive your name, contact details, or payment information from these purchases. The network reports to PMT that a qualifying purchase occurred, with details such as its value, so that commissions can be calculated; PMT uses that information only to administer the affiliate program and never as an input to its market analytics. If you prefer not to be tracked by an affiliate network, do not use those links — you can go to TCGplayer directly instead.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide reasonable notice through the Service. Your continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
